What your child practised

  • Seeing equal groups: the same number of things in each group, like 2 slippers in every pair.
  • Finding how many in all by adding the same number again: 3 + 3 + 3 + 3 = 12, and by counting in twos and fives.
  • Saying it with times: 4 bunches of 3 leaves is 4 times 3, which is 12.
