The service
ncert.ai provides interactive companion chapters, study tools (highlights, notes, bookmarks, quick checks, search) and, when available, an AI tutor. It is free and offered for personal, non-commercial learning. We may add, change or remove features, and some chapters are marked “coming soon” until they have been written and reviewed.
Independence
ncert.ai is an independent learning companion aligned to the NCERT curriculum. It is not affiliated with or endorsed by NCERT. “NCERT” and the titles of NCERT textbooks belong to their owners and are used only to show which book and chapter a companion follows.
Accuracy and AI
We work hard to make every chapter accurate and age-appropriate, but mistakes can happen. AI answers in particular can be wrong or incomplete. Always check important facts with your textbook and teacher, and tell us about errors so we can fix them.
Acceptable use
- Use ncert.ai for learning. Don't use it to harass anyone or to create harmful content.
- Don't try to get around usage limits, attack the service, or copy the site or its content in bulk (for example by automated scraping).
- Keep questions to the tutor about your studies. Off-topic or unsafe requests will be declined.
Accounts
An account is optional. If you are under 18, please sign in only with the permission of a parent or guardian. You are responsible for your account; you can delete it at any time from Settings. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.
Content and rights
The companion chapters, figures, simulations, questions and design of ncert.ai are original work of ncert.ai. You may read them, share links to them and print pages for your own study or classroom use. Your highlights and notes are yours; you give us permission only to store and sync them so the service works (see the privacy policy).
No warranty
The service is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. We are not liable for losses that come from relying on the content or from the service being unavailable. Nothing here limits rights you have under the law of India that cannot be limited.
Changes
If we change these terms we will update this page and the date above. Questions: contact@ncert.ai.
