Every scene's words in order, as Tara reads them after Start: for reading along, or for a child who cannot hear the narration.

Hello, Rimi!
Rimi lives in Kolkata with Montu and Thamma.
Today there is a festival in their lane!
Tara: Hello! I am Tara. Let us look for patterns!
Flags in a row
Triangle, square, triangle, square.
It repeats again and again. That is a pattern!
Tara: Say it with me: triangle, square!
More flags
Let us hang more flags in the lane.
Activity: Triangle, square, triangle… what comes next? Tap it.
Leaves and flowers
Thamma, their grandma, hangs leaves and flowers on the door.
One leaf, two flowers. One leaf, two flowers.
Activity: What comes next on Thamma's string? Tap it.
Round and square
Rimi puts sweets on a plate for the guests.
Round, square, round, square, all the way round!
Tara: A pattern can go round in a circle!
Activity: Oh! One sweet is missing. Which shape goes in the gap?
A new saree
Thamma has a new saree for the festival.
Look at the border: up, down, up, down!
Tara: That is a zigzag pattern.
Activity: Now draw a zigzag. Trace the dots below with your finger.
Thumb prints
Little Montu makes prints with his thumb and finger.
Big, small, big, small, big…
Activity: What comes next in Montu's pattern? Tap it.
One more each time
Rimi ties balloons on the poles.
One balloon, then two, then three…
Tara: This pattern grows by one each time!
Activity: How many balloons go on the next pole? Tap it.
Fewer and fewer
Montu eats one laddoo each time. Yum!
Activity: Six, five, four… what comes next? Tap it.
Montu's dance
Montu makes up a dance.
Arms up, arms out, arms down. Again!
Tara: Stand up! Do the dance pattern with Montu.
Numbers on doors
Look at the numbers on the doors.
2, 4, 6, 8. Each one is 2 more.
Activity: What number goes on the next door? Tap it.
Count back
The children line up for a race.
Activity: They count back: 10, 9, 8… what comes next?
Alpana at the door
Thamma draws an alpana with rice paste.
Rimi draws the other half the same way.
Tara: Each petal is the same, all the way round!
Activity: Help Rimi draw the border. Trace the curve three times.
Patterns everywhere
Patterns are all around us.
Look at the floor, the cat and the butterfly!
Tara: Can you find a pattern near you?
Lights at night
At night, a lantern lights up the lane.
Sun, moon, star, sun, moon, star…
Activity: What comes next on the lantern? Tap it.
Bye-bye!
You found so many patterns today!
Shapes, sizes, numbers and a dance too.
Tara: Happy festival! Bye-bye, see you soon!
