Every scene's words in order, as Tara reads them after Start: for reading along, or for a child who cannot hear the narration.

Hello, Neelu!
This is Neelu. She lives in the hills of Himachal.
Nani and little Monu grow vegetables on their farm.
Tara: Hello! I am Tara. Let us add and take away on the farm!
Tomato time
Neelu picks 6 tomatoes. Nani picks 7.
How many tomatoes are there in all?
Activity: Count all the tomatoes in both trays. How many in all?
Carrots!
Nani pulls up 8 carrots. Neelu pulls up 4.
Activity: How many carrots are there in all? Tap each one to count.
Same and same
Neelu picks 7 pea pods. Monu picks 7 too.
7 + 7 = 14. They have the same!
Tara: The same number twice is called a double!
Nani's bead string
Nani makes a bead string: 10 blue, then 10 white.
Neelu pushes 11 beads to the left.
Tara: 10 blue beads and 1 white bead make 11.
Count on!
Start at 11. Push 5 more: 12, 13, 14, 15, 16.
11 + 5 = 16.
Tara: Do not start from 1. Start at 11 and count on!
Your turn
Neelu has 12 beads. She pushes 3 more.
Activity: Start at 12 and count on 3. How many beads now?
The number path
Neelu writes 1 to 20 on the courtyard stones.
She starts on 9, hops 7 stones and lands on 16.
Tara: 9 + 7 = 16. Count the hops, not the stone you start on!
Monu hops
Monu stands on stone 13.
Activity: Monu hops 6 stones forward. Where does he land? Tap the number.
A bunch of 10
Nani ties 10 radishes into one bunch.
A bunch of 10 and 4 more make 14.
Tara: A bunch is always 10. We do not need to count it again!
Add the small ones
Neelu brings 3 more. 4 and 3 make 7.
A bunch of 10 and 7 make 17!
Tara: 14 + 3 = 17. Keep the 10, then add the rest!
Trays of 10
Nani puts her carrots in trays of 10.
Activity: One tray is full. That is 10. How many carrots in all?
Make 10 first
Neelu has 9 apples. Monu has 5.
Monu gives her 1 apple. Now she has 10!
Activity: How many apples are there in all?
Oh no, a goat!
Nani grew 13 cabbages in a row.
A hungry goat ate 4 of them!
Activity: How many cabbages are left? Count the whole ones.
Hop back
Neelu stands on 17. She hops back 5 stones.
She lands on 12. So 17 − 5 = 12.
Tara: Hopping back is taking away!
Monu hops back
Monu is on stone 13 again.
Now he hops back 5 stones.
Activity: Monu counts back as he hops. Which stone comes next?
Sold!
Nani sells the 4 loose radishes.
Activity: How many radishes are left now?
The same stone
Neelu: 5 + 6. Monu: 14 − 3.
They both land on stone 11!
Tara: Adding and taking away can take you to the same stone!
Activity: Join each sum to its answer.
The apple box
Nani packs apples in a box with 12 spaces.
8 spaces have apples. How many more apples fit?
Activity: How many more apples can go in the box?
Bye-bye!
You added and took away on Nani's farm.
You counted on, hopped and made 10!
Tara: Super farm sums! Bye-bye, see you soon!
